The world needs

Future Farmers

Our world needs farmers to grow nutritious food in harmony with nature. The Sentli Center wants to cultivate future farmers to continue the hard work and commitment to provide our communities with nutrient-dense produce while taking care of the land.

That is why we are proud to offer field trips for all K-12 students! In this interactive farm experience, students learn about the farming practices we implement, the variety of produce, and even harvesting vegetables! We assess the TEKS of each grade and cater the farm tour to teach the curriculum taught in their classrooms, elevating science teachings to real-life knowledge and experience. We strive to instill a sense of care and wonder for the plants growing from the soil, and the foods eaten from them through the experience at the farm.

Volunteers

We welcome volunteers to come to the farm to learn and collaborate on understanding nature’s cycles and how to better support them while producing food.

Get your hands dirty, pick and eat some veggies, and fill your brain with farming and gardening knowledge!

If you are interested in learning more about organic food production, reach out to us.

Community Garden

Want to grow your own vegetables but don’t have the space to do so? The Sentli Center offers garden space to any member of the community wanting to grow their own food. Participate in a hands-on learning experience while enjoying the fruits of your labor.

Workshops

Sentli offers educational workshops for our community! We believe that everyone has the ability to grow nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables.

You can learn more about:

  • Growing in season
  • Organic gardening
  • Eating Local
  • Healthy recipes

Community Sponsorships

Join Sentli in addressing food insecurity by donating veggie boxes for RGV families in need. Your contributions will provide families in food deserts with a 20lb box of fresh produce grown by local farmers using organic and regenerative farming practices. You can sponsor a family for the season or make a one-time donation. We partner with trusted community-based organizations to distribute the produce to those who need it most.

With your help, we can reach more families and communities with nutrient-dense produce. Together we can rebuild a more just food system where people have equal access to nutritious fresh produce.
